The AQuA App Quality Badge

The AQuA App Quality Badge is a mark of quality available for apps that have met the quality level of 'Test House-Verified' or 'AQuA Core Member-Verified' within the Quality App Directory.

The following points are very important to note:

  • The badge is not for the developer but for the app
  • The developer must be given permission by AQuA before using the badge for an approved app
  • The developer will then be required to sign AQuA App Quality Badge Terms & Conditions, agree to the Usage Guidelines below and then download the badge for use with that app
  • If the AQuA App Quality Badge is inappropriately used, or used in conjunction with a non-approved app, then appropriate legal action will be taken.

The large badge

The badge can be used when promoting an app in online or printed promotional material.

When used online, the logo must link back to the app within the Quality App Directory.
If this is not possible, there must be a line of text (using stated wording) within the description linking back to the app within the Quality App Directory.

The logo must never be stretched or changed in any way. Here are two examples of how it might be used:

The Quality Badge must be referred to within the above description as follows - Swiftkey 3 is in the Quality App Directory and has passed the relevant quality tests set by AQuA (App Quality Alliance) - with the words Quality App Directory linked to the page below:

The Quality Badge above must be linked to the page below:

The small badge

There is a smaller version available for use within icon of the app or within the app itself.
